So you think Google Analytics is a free web site statistics program that helps you with super in-depth analysis if your web site traffic.
Nope, it’s really not.
I see Google Analytics as very, very expensive for many people.
You see, what happens is this: people spend hours reviewing every tiny detail of every single stat (and there are thousands of them) that Google Analytics can provide.
Time is money.
And the vast majority of those stats are meaningless to most people. (As a business guy who spends more time than most analysing Google Analytics data, I know the most important stat is visitor numbers. Much of the rest is just fluff.)
It’s a waste of many hours.
It’s because most of those tiny stats are irrelevant and action can’t be taken to influence them in any meaningful way anyway.
What You Must Do For Business Growth
Stop spending hours on reviewing your stats and more time on making your web site information better – more interesting and entertaining. That’s when you’ll see real growth.
Cheers
