I’m off to my kid’s school awards tonight and they always fascinate me.
The parents of the kids who win stuff are so damn proud. Just like the kid getting the award.
No matter how cool the kid thinks he/she is, they’re always thrilled to get the recognition.
(I boo kids as they get up on stage to get an award. Heh, i just like the attention as everyone looks around at me!)
Recognition for a job well done.
I’ve always been a really strong believer in taking great care of our customers.
After all, we run a serious business that employees a few people and our clients are the ones who make it possible for us to stay in business, feed our families and go off for a the occasional day or 2 holiday :o)
So we often thank clients who refer us business.
But I think we should do more.
I reckon we should reward clients who refers us anyone – even if the new person doesn’t become a client.
I figure that our clients are helping us out by referring others. It’s not their fault we’re too dopey to get the business of the person they referred.
What do you think?
And when I say ‘Reward’ that can be anything from a carton of beer to a dinner to a thank you card – if usually doesn’t matter how we say “Thank You”……as long as we do.
P.S: I don’t really boo the kids………..unless they beat my kids! ;o)
Cheers
