I’m doing some working for a marketing client and for us to start this work – which he says is “extremely urgent” – all we need is for him to send us one- (1) file from his computer via email.
- I’ve emailed him 3 times requesting the file.
- I’ve called him twice.
- I even offered to drive down to his office and get the file myself if that helps.
Every time I’ve contacted the client he’s said “I’ll send it immediately.”
But it doesn’t happen.
I’m trying to figure out why – after all, it’s essential (so he told me) that we start marketing his business immediately.
Distractions Hurt A Lot
And I think I know the answer – you see, the usual day to day problems crop up and distract him. They distract him from doing the only thing he needs to do to get his business to where he wants and needs it to be – market his business.
As much as we all try, I think most of us get distracted from doing the truly important things.
Do you?
Cheers
