I’ve just returned from a motorbike tour around New Zealand with 4 mates.
The trip really reinforced to me the absolute importance of having high search engine rankings (mostly in Google) and a well crafted web site.
You see, we spent a whole chunk of money on various things:
- motorbike hire was about $8,000 AUD
- accommodation was up to $860 AUD per night
- a helicopter ride around the glaciers was $1,500 AUD
We pre-booked the motorbike hire and accommodation after web searches.
What that means is if you got your business in a position to be assessed by my mate who did all the booking, then you were half a chance to make a very nice and easy sale.
It’s so easy to cruise along and not push your web site, but my advice now is to work hard at getting your site to the top of Google.
In almost any business, it will result in a ton more business.
Cheers
