The key to getting your business noticed at Mother’s Day, is to be prepared. This goes for any celebratory days like Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Easter or even Australia Day.
And don’t for one second think that you have to put your prices down to get the customers through the door.
There are many ways to get noticed. Here are some thought starters:
- Put together a gift guide of products in various price categories e.g. gifts under $50, gifts under $100. This can be shared through emails, letterboxes, social media or in-store flyers and will attract costumers with different budgets.
- Put special packages together of a few products/services that are popular with mother’s. This encourages the up-selling of customers.
- If you don’t have something ‘sexy’ to sell, partner with a local restaurant or boutique e.g. On behalf of XYZ Accountants, please enjoy breakfast at ABC Café this Mother’s Day.
- Make sure you tug on the heartstrings. This never fails. Create an emotive call-to-action to attract the sons and daughters who are spending the money in-store e.g. Mum will love you for this, this will make you the favourite child, get mum what she REALLY wants.
You just need to do something that will put your business top-of-mind.
Cheers
