One of the many attractions on the Gold Coast is whale watching during their migration season.
The whale watching on the Gold Coast started around late May and continues on until late October. Of course there are often a few stragglers either side of those times, but that’s the busiest parts of the year.
One of the more experienced skippers on the Gold Coast for whale watching is Lachlan from Cooly Eco Adventures.
Big boat difference for whale watching
They have a big difference to the other whale watching crews in that they use a fast, customised open ocean RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat).
It seats 12 guests, plus the Captain and crew.
It’s perfectly geared for Gold Coast waters and provides an up close and personal whale watching Gold Coast experience.
