Making things easy for your customers is essential to maximise your sales.
After last night’s dinner, I had a little sleep in. I woke about 9 am and, with my daughter, wandered down to the local shopping centre to buy the Sunday papers. As I entered the shopping centre carpark I could see a huge banner on the outdoor coffee shop announcing “Lily Pilly’s is now open.”
That’s making it easy. It’s making it easy for me to see that the coffee shop was open. Easy for me to make a decision on whether to amble over and check.
Your potential customers don’t want hassle. They want an easy, easy experience in dealing with you. They want you to take them by the hand and walk them through everything to do with your business.
Do you make everything as easy as possible for your customers?
Is it easy to contact you? If your customers looked you up in the Yellow Pages would they find you? Do you put your customers on hold before they get to speak to you? Do you have an after hours answering service?
Is it easy for your customers to find what they want? Do you have enough knowledgeable salespeople? Are your products in a logical order? Is it easy to buy lots of your stuff?
Is it easy to pay you? Do you accept credit cards? Do you provide a payment plan for major purchases? Do you have enough service points?
Make it as easy as possible for your customers to find you, park near you, find what they are looking for, pay you… the list goes on. Do this and your sales will increase. There’s no question about it.
Cheers
