I have a mate who has just had some long awaited business success.
This is what he told me after he made the massive deal:
“I’m not sure if I was stupid for persevering with the business for so long,
Or smart to stick with the business with full faith it would be successful.”
The answer to that is this:
If your perseverance pays off and you can hang on long enough to see the business to success, then you’re very, very smart. And everyone looking in thinks you’re a business genius.
If you can’t hang on and you lose everything, well, then you’re a dumb ass for wasting your time, money and family’s financial future on a stupid idea.
And everyone looking in thinks you’re a complete failure.
It’s A Fine Line
Every half decent businessman/woman I know understands the absolute truth that it’s a fine, fine line between rip-roaring success and bankruptcy.
Success can sometimes depend on just showing up.
Cheers
